Reno Ecstatic Dance is an all-ages, sober event that aims to create a concert-like experience for the whole family. Ecstatic Dance takes place in cities worldwide, creating time and space for you to focus on movement and dance.
This freeform movement journey is held in safe spaces and facilitated by professional DJs, so you can show up as your unique self. No expectations, no worries, just dance!
Each event takes place in a safe venue with professional DJs, high-quality sound, an altar, and a short sound healing to close out the event.

3 Universal Agreements of Ecstatic Dance
Be Present
Kick off your shoes, turn off your phone, and experience the moment! We are a phone and camera-free space, so you can let go of judgements and expectations.
Be Embodied
We ask that you follow the three main rules: no shoes, no booze (or other drugs), and no talking. Allow yourself to connect mind, body, and spirit.
Be Consensual
Consent is essential to everyone having a great experience. Before you dance with others, make eye contact and listen for a yes. We want everyone to feel empowered to voice their own "yes" and "no".
